Greetings my fellow readers! This is not a blog about love or make up or fashion, or any hubba bubba subject. This is the start of a blog madness that concerns my new life in a setting which introduced some new challenges that I did not anticipate. This blog may not appeal to everyone since it maaaay not be everyone’s cup of tea. It will feature issues that normal Muslims will face as a student in their daily lives and as well keeping it Halal. Cases like these are mostly hushed down in the Muslim community as it is not really permissible or looked upon as something good. This is my first attempt to write it in this form, so please bear with me and be patient as I am also learning along the way. Some terms might be unknown to you since I am a Desi (Google’s your friend) and some things are better described in my own language. This blog will be satirical and some of its content may seem judgmental and mocking\or insulting, but it’s not my intention to offend anyone. This is mainly for entertainment purposes (and for those people who have no lives and need to read about someone else) and for myself foremost, important lessons will be learned along the way as it is a progress – and if you don’t find any of this to your liking then you may take a lovely hike!
It took me over an hour just to figure what the hell I should call this blog. This title might give people the wrong associations, but that is the point of it! This is the best I could come up with (Among many titles for instance: Muslim Student + Random Girl = ???!?!!!!!??, Living with a Gori, Muslim living with a Gori, Holy Muslim Challenge, Muslim in Teenage Troubles, Miserable Muslim Musings, Desident Evil (GET IT? Desi-dent Evil and it’s a reference to the movie), Muslim Looking For Love (lol), Satans foul stench gripped my Soul, The Halal vs Haram, The Girl Next Room, the list goes on (and I know there is a lot of Muslim titles here but it had to be catchy somehow) so if you have any suggestions I might take it into consideration and add it to this list at least (has to be better than the current title :p) I would appreciate any feedback, ideas, thoughts, good or bad concerning the content or in general!
